This year local pipa virtuoso and composer Gao Hong has many reasons to celebrate. 2008 marks her 35th anniversary as a performer, and 10th year as a composer. It also marks the completion of her 7-year-old daughter’s treatment for leukemia. Gao will be celebrating these milestones with an international tour that includes a performance at Ted Mann Concert Hall at the University of Minnesota on April 19, 2008 at 8:00 p.m
